Call, email, text, or send a singing telegram. There are no problems we can’t solve through open communication.
Be Nice
Seriously, don’t be a jerk. We’re all working to help homebuyers. Remember, we’re all on the same team, so be nice!
Do One More
The difference between winners and champions is one more. One more phone call before you wrap up for the day. One more minute on the treadmill. One more file we review. When others are “done,” we do one more.
Improve
Just because we’ve always done it that way doesn’t mean it’s not incredibly stupid. If something can be done better, let’s talk about it. Leave no stone unturned when it comes to improving the mortgage experience.
Keep Your Promises
All of them. Follow up with homebuyers when you say you will. Leave work early to see your kid’s baseball game. Make meetings on time. Bottom line: when you say you will do something, do it.
Listen
Don’t just hear, but actively listen to homebuyers, real estate agents, referral partners, and other team members. Find problems and let’s solve them.
